Do we need to rewrite everything at once?
No. We usually replace the system piece by piece, routing traffic to new components as they are ready. This reduces risk and delivers value early.
How do you avoid losing data during migration?
We script and rehearse migrations, validate record counts and business rules, run old and new systems in parallel where needed, and keep tested rollback plans.
