Which technologies do we use?
How do we approach UI/UX design?
We begin by understanding the people who will use the product: interviews, analytics from any existing product, and a review of competitors and support tickets. This turns opinions into evidence and shows which problems are worth solving first.
Next come user journeys and wireframes, then a clickable prototype that we test with real users. Problems found at this stage cost minutes to fix; the same problems found after development cost weeks.
Visual design follows, built as a component library in Figma with accessibility checked against WCAG guidelines. Developers receive specifications, assets and design tokens, and we stay involved during the build to review what is implemented.
After launch, we look at how people actually use the product — where they hesitate, drop off or ask for help — and plan the next round of improvements from that evidence. Good design is never finished; it gets better with each release.
What affects the cost and timeline?
- Whether research and testing with real users are included
- The number of user roles, journeys and unique screens
- Designing for web, mobile apps or both
- Whether a design system or brand guidelines already exist
- Accessibility and localisation requirements

What is the difference between UI and UX design?
UX design shapes how a product works — structure, flows and usability. UI design shapes how it looks — layout, typography, colour and components. Good products need both.
Do you test designs with users?
Yes. We test prototypes with representative users before development so problems are fixed when they are cheapest to change.
